    Description

    A child prodigy in an Irish immigrant family, Stritch received a bachelor's degree at 14, was ordained at 22, became Bishop of Toledo at 34, Archbishop of Milwaukee at 43 (in time for the Great Depression) and Archbishop of Chicago at 52 (in time for World War II.)  He became Samuel Alphonsus Cardinal Stritch in 1946, and died in 1958, which caused the printing of this memorial prayer card.  Kept in nice shape
