Wonderful photo archive of the Brainerd family. These are original period photographs of Alfred French  Brainerd and his daughters, and granddaughter. They were found together in one lot. Photos are:

Alfred French Brainerd was a chemist working in the iron/steel refining industry, and moved frequently as  a result of his work. Born in New York, he was in St. Albans, VT, St. Louis, MO, Pennsylvania, and  Birmingham, AL.

Overall condition of ALL photos is Very good to excellent. Good tone and contrast. Notations on photos as  follows:
Alfred F. Brainerd- Front: "Alfred French Brainerd". Reverse: "Alfred F. Brainerd, about 1881. Died Oct. 3d,  1893. Buried in New Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama"
