This book includes reproductions of letters written by Dale Krueger during 1950 and 1951 during the Korean War. He became engaged to his girlfriend Connie shortly after enlisting, referring to her as “Princess” in many of the letters.
A letter from August 9, 1951, mentions he will be leaving Pescador Island soon and that he was looking to get back to Mason City, Iowa, in order to plan for wedding that he thought might happen as early as September. The letters detail Dale’s life at a United States Naval Training Center and later aboard a U.S. Navy seaplane tender, which was used to service seaplanes that were often used for long range reconnaissance.
The book concludes with their wedding picture. Twelve pages are devoted to one or photos form Dale’s adventures. The title page is signed by the author.
This 8 3/16” x 10 15/16”, 1 1/2 pound, volume has a solid binding with no loose pages , creases or tears. The cover panels have polishing swirl marks and marring and corner rub wear, with some internal small wrinkles. There is a small smudge on the inside of the front cover on the  left edge.

USPS packages have a much shorter handling time of 1-3 days.
