1832 Capped Bust Quarter Dollar-High Grade

Here find offered an early
US Quarter Dollar
, an
1832 Capped Bust
in
high grade
condition. I obtained this coin years ago from Great Southern coins, they auction many coins on Ebay. Coin has a strong strike, slightly golden toning with hints of rainbow blue and purple at the edges. I grade it at BU++, about 2 levels above basic Uncirculated according to Photo Grade and PCGS website. You can judge for yourself but it is in high grade condition. I would have it graded but you have to buy a membership to the grading service, which I don’t want for one coin .The first two photos were done professionally by Great Southern coin, the others by me with a common camera.
Photographing coins is very difficult but I did my best. My photos don’t show the details well at all like it is in person. But coin is very attractive on both sides in person like the first two photos although a little less golden than pictured.
Early quarters along with dimes and half dimes all have small mintages hence coins in premium grades are high priced. Coin will be securely packed in a
small Priority flat rate carton
insured
for full price.
I typically use Priority Mail for small shipments and
may upgrade from Parcel Select to Priority Mail
for larger shipments if the costs are about the same.
